Event description

The 175th Dartmouth Royal Regatta saw the whole embankment area refreshed, bringing the old ‘shopping village’ into the town and increasing the quality of retailer. We also had the addition of roaming street musicians and entertainment. New pop up tea gardens and bars on the embankment helped to refocus attention on the many rowing races and numerous other water based activities. The feedback from these changes has been resoundingly positive!

Logistically we are looking at altering the setup times, giving the service providers (marquees, lighting, sound, electrics) extra time to get setup before exhibitors arrive, without taking any time away from the exhibitor setup time. Additional we hope to implement a one way system through the Embankment to aide with on-site traffic flow.

The Dartmouth Regatta saw approximately 40,000 – 60,000 visitors in 2018 and 2019.

Up to date details about the Dartmouth Regatta can be found on the Dartmouth Regatta website.
